Reasons that people may need to access our Food Bank include: benefit delays, sanctions, temporary reductions in income, debts or setting up home after a period of homelessness.
To receive help from the Food Bank, you will need to obtain a Food Bank voucher. If you need help to do this please contact Ablewell Advice
Our Food Bank relies on donations from the public. We welcome donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries (including nappies) and pet food. Please see our list of current shortages on Facebook for details of items we are in need of at the present time. Donations can be brought to our offices during out opening hours (Mon, Weds, Fri 10am – 2pm, Sat 11-1pm) or delivered to Methodist Central Hall in Walsall by arrangement.
Our Food Bank opening times are:
Monday 10am – 2pm
Wednesday 10am – 2pm
Friday 10am – 2pm
Saturday 11am – 1pm
If you have a BCFB voucher and are seeking help outside of these hours a list of alternative local Food Banks can be found here…
